DIY Beach Wave Texture Spray
Keeping length when you heat-style and color your hair can be a rough task. Especially with all the breakage that comes with lightening hair.
This is why giving a little extra TLC to my hair on the reg is super important to me.
I made a fresh batch today of this DIY spray and wanted to share the recipe because it’s so damn good!!! It has the right (and natural) compounds to keep the hair healthy, promote growth, and it secretly doubles as a sea salt spray to add that beachy wave texture.
You’ll need: - 4oz spray bottle - 1/2 tbsp Himalayan sea salt - 1/2 tbsp Epsom salt
- 1 tsp Avocado oil - 4 oz’s of warm water - 8 drops of dōTERRA Rosemary essential oil - 8 drops of dōTERRA Lavender essential oil
Directions: Mix all the ingredients in the 4oz spray bottle. Make sure the water is warm when first mixing it to the salts can dissolve. To use shake vigorously a few times to mix it all up. Spray on hair, and scrunch into hair like you would any other texture spray. Use on heat curled hair or on wet hair and let air dry. ⚠️Warning: it smells incredibly delicious and can become addicting. Beach waves may turn heads. Use responsibly! :)
